The deal

Paint Together is a free place to turn photos into paint-by-numbers and paint them with people you like. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms as the site grows; the date at the bottom tells you when we last did.

Your paintings are yours

You keep all rights to photos you upload and the paintings you make from them. You give us just enough permission to do our job: storing your painting, showing it to the people you paint with, and, if you made it public, showing it on the site. That is it. We never sell your work or train models on it.

What you may upload

Only upload photos you have the right to use: your own pictures, or images whose owner says it is fine. Do not upload anything illegal, anything that harasses or targets a real person, sexual content involving minors in any form, or content you know infringes someone's copyright. Public paintings are visible to everyone, so keep them friendly to a general audience.

You are responsible for what you post

Paint Together hosts content that painters create. The person who uploads a photo or writes a message is responsible for it, not us. We do not review paintings before they appear, and we are not liable for what users post. If something breaks the rules, tell us and we will act.

Copyright complaints

If your work appears here without your permission, email hello@paintbynumberstogether.com with a link to the painting, a description of your work, and a way to reach you. We will take infringing content down promptly. If you repeatedly upload infringing content, we will block you from the site.

Reporting anything else

See something that should not be here? Email hello@paintbynumberstogether.com or use the note form on the Help page. We read every report and remove content that breaks these rules. Where the law requires it, we also report illegal content to the proper authorities.

Our house, our brushes

We may remove any painting, message, or user at any time, for any reason, without notice. We do not want to, and we almost never will, but a cozy site stays cozy because someone can sweep up. We may also change or shut down features as the site evolves.

No promises

Paint Together is provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it up and to keep your paintings safe, but we cannot guarantee uptime or that data will never be lost, and we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the site. Please keep copies of photos you care about.
